A good friend from NZ was visiting Nantes and took the opportunity to catch a fast train up to Angers to spend a little time with us exploring the interesting old city of Angers on our rest day

We did about 7 km of walking punctuated with a stop for lunch at a very good French restaurant .

So many interesting old buildings at some great art too

Had a wonderful lunch at one of the many restaurants and had a good catch up with Jeff

We saw Jeff off at about 3 pm back to a fast train to Nantes then relaxed for the rest of the day with an excursion out just for dessert. A cycling tour certainly gives one a certain justification in eating lots of very nice food .
