Barb and I are finally on the road- destination unknown- its about the journey , not the destination. We are presently staying at the beach at Papamoa close to the Mount. Lots of motor homes here- we are parked next to our gypsy friends – Phil and linda- fellow sea  kayaking enthusiasts. We had hoped to join them for an expedition to lake taupo but the weather is not looking hopeful.
