Barb and I had a trip to wellington to pick up our new ( used ) sea kayak- named “her Ladyship” She features lots of useful storage – an additional 80 litres just aft of the front cockpit. Not trusting the local truckies with our fairly fragile kevlar boat we decided to do the big drive down to wellington to pick her up.

We launched her down the road at skudders beach and enjoyed a paddle up to the stone store and back. Our friends the williams family took the photos. She performed well and feels to be a safe boat. We should start our first adventures with her next week when we take chris away for a holiday up north.
