Finally got my act together and hit the road – Sunday ride – destination Grazalema circuit – a ride that climbs thru an amazing cork tree forest . Grazalema is said to be one of the most picture perfect Pueblo Blanco villages – perched high in the mountains in extremely rugged country.
Barb and I returned with the car for a good look thru the town and enjoyed a snack at a Tapas bar.
This area is a cyclists paradise as the roads are so so smooth that it even makes the climbs significantly more pleasant. Motorists here are far more cyclist friendly / considerate than we have in Nz or Australia . Has a huge network of beautiful a very scenic minor routes with hardly any traffic.
All good conditioning for my big UK tide in June.
