Resumed the journey with a flight back to Queenstown from home where I spent one week . Flew with a 20 Litre diesel can and a large box containing all the many bits for a new 4 KW Eberspacher diesel heater, and a range of tools for the job. Retrieved the 5th wheel from near Hawea where we had parked at a beekeepers place – the Ward Family . Drove to Cromwell to Davis Auto Electrical where they were very accommodating in letting me park at their workshop – overnighting in the van and doing the job of fitting the heater. Phil and Brendan – the two sparky’s did the electrical connections and also helped with advice and solutions and tools that I needed along the way.

The job took two and a half days and is now finished and working very well. It produces a huge amount of heat and should equip us to withstand the worst that winter will bring.

Now parked up in a small town called Bannockburn – Waiting for the return of Barb who will fly down on Sunday.
