Flamenco in Seville – Barbs

We decided to make an overnight sortie to Selville with the intention of catching a performance of Flamenco. We knew very little about Flemenco and the little theatre of Los Gallos put on a very moving and often very loud show. The anguish and tragedy of life was repeated with each singer and the dancers could really move their feet: a great aerobic workout! Despite the senorita’s pretty dresses and lots of swishing of skirts the standout and most popular artist was the only bloke who knew how to work the crowd but maybe that was because he was near the end of the show and a few glasses of sangria and vino tinto had warmed up the audience. Ole!!
